The Omega Speedmaster needs little introduction. As the first watch worn on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969, the "Moonwatch" earned its place in history as one of the most important timepieces ever created. The "White Side of the Moon" takes that legendary lineage and reimagines it in an all-white ceramic package that is as visually stunning as it is technically advanced. The entire 44.25mm case is machined from a single block of white zirconia ceramic - a material that is incredibly lightweight, virtually scratch-proof, and hypoallergenic. The matching white ceramic bezel features a tachymeter scale filled with chromium nitride for subtle contrast. The high-gloss white ceramic dial is adorned with applied 18k white gold hour markers and diamond-polished 18k white gold hands with luminescent fill. The central chronograph seconds hand features a signature red tip, providing the only splash of color on this otherwise monochromatic masterpiece.
At its heart is Omega's Co-Axial Caliber 9300, a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement with a column wheel, silicon "Si 14" balance spring for exceptional magnetic resistance, and a 60-hour power reserve from twin barrels. The exhibition caseback reveals the beautifully decorated movement with its distinctive arabesque wave finish. Presented on a white leather strap with a white ceramic foldover clasp.
